I’m Zheyuan Zhang, a SF/LA based graphic designer. Original in Shanghai, China. I had never lived away from this mega city until I turned to 21. If I hadn’t spent one semester abroad, I probably would be spending my whole life-time in there. But during my five months in Southern California, I was able to go places, meet different people and learn about new ideas and concepts. Two things became clear to me from these experiences. First, graphic design was much more sophisticated than I thought; rather than just learn from afar, I prefer to experience for myself. So I made up my mind to redesign my life track. In 2016, I decided to start graduate school at California College of the Arts in San Francisco, a mecca of design and tech, so as to broaden my horizons.
My goal in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some respect, some style, and some insane amount of humor. Eager to learn and have a roll-up-my-sleeves attitude. I’m crazy about sports and admire to have the same never-give-up spirit.
