When Boohee Technology(薄荷科技)came across and would like me to redesign their recent launched sub-brand "Boohee Nutritionist"(薄荷营养师), I was actually thrilled to have this opportunity to put my work in for this fast growing internet company. Boohee is a Shanghai-based online weight management operator that works as a health nutrition expert with AI powered analysis and services.
Due to some certain reasons, Last year Boohee had to kick off the Boohee Nutritionist program with a quick sketch tomato figure as their logo. Not that they didn't like this cute colorful tomato, but they really needed a redesigned logo for this new born program, the one that can better express their brand spirit to their users.
My guy from Boohee told me that Boohee Nutritionist can be considered as a pro version of their current master brand app. And I was stated clearly that they didn't want to use any elements from their existing master brand logo, meanwhile they were looking for something clean, modern, professional, warm, and caring. And my guy also gave me an interesting tip that her boss likes the Tesla logo...​​​​​​​
With all these information, I said maybe I could give it a shot.
The new logo has been updated to their WEIXIN mini program and the app as I'm typing these words, 
more branding identity is still in progress now, please stay tuned!
